While researching top ranked graduate Finance programs, I came across the press release that notes "Based on its survey of all 437 AACSB-accredited master's programs, U.S. News & World Report ranked Fordham Graduate School of Business Administration's Finance program at #14. Fordham Finance ranked 14th in the survey, tied with the Tuck School (Dartmouth). This is an extraordinary accomplishment that places Fordham Finance ahead of such strong programs as those at Yale, Cornell, Indiana, Rochester, Texas, and Southern California."

Can anyone please list a link to the complete listing of all top Finance programs ranked by the US News for those interested in knowing Top ranked Finance Specialty programs in the U.S. News & World Report 2011-2012 Best Business Schools Specialty Rankings? Take those rankings with a grain of salt. Sometimes they are based on factors that don't add to students' experience/placements , etc

Still, for whatever little it is worth, a recent complete list from US News for Finance programs will be appreciated, just like any other rankings list discussed on quant net. I agree with you that all rankings and statistical placement data shared by even the most elite programs in all lists discussed on quant net must be taken with a grain of salt: Knowing some brightest senior and junior candidates from MFE programs such as Berkeley and CMU scouting for jobs, and, history made by the MIT grad standing with job wanted sign around his neck in Manhattan, I am not sure if I can trust any such ranking list any more.

Albeit interesting, this list looks more like a MBA in Finance or MS in Finance ranking of schools, rather than a ranking of programs in Quantitative Finance such as MFE/MSMF/MSCF. I'd say people graduating from these programs go on to less analytical/scientific jobs than most people here on Quantnet seek…

Are you suggesting that graduates of MS in Finance programs such as Princeton and MIT go on to less analytical / scientific jobs than most people here on Quantnet seek? Most discussants on Quantnet are from City University of New York. Hence, are you suggesting that graduates of programs such as Princeton and MIT seek less analytical / scientific jobs than such folks from CUNY?

In my understanding, your post seems to be mixing up between MBA and MS Quantitative Finance ‘specialty’ programs such as the ones that the question is about. Here are a couple of articles from the Princeton MS Finance program that explain most significant differences between the two as well as list the specific programs with ‘specialty’ Quantitative focus in Finance in contrast to the type of MBA your post seems to imply.
