Hi,
I have a masters degree in computer science with extensive experience in IT as java developer. Currently I am aiming to get a quant developer position. With very basic knowledge of financial concepts I started looking for MFE programs which will help me to achieve my goals but those were too expensive and way out of my budget. Could anyone advice me a less expensive, good program which fits my budget of 12K or is it possible to get a job if I study on my own. Also I came across Pre-MFE program by Baruch which looks good....will that help me to get a job?

Maybe CQF is the only option for you at that price point. It's a certificate, not a master degree.
pre-MFE courses are designed to prepare you for MFE program, not to get a job.

had CQF as option...just wanted recommendations from the pros. Thanks for the replies
