Application Advice Needed

Hi everyone,
I need some help in here, I recently concluded my MSc in Networks and Performance (computing course) in a UK university. I'm really interested in pursuing Phd in financial Engineering or mathematical finance but I'm kind of confuse on how to go about it, especially what to research on, what school to apply, I'm not even sure if I'm qualified and how to go about it.
