Barclays: 107,000 applications for 1,500 positions last year

Barclays CEO in an interview with Bloomberg mentioned that last year, they receive 107,000 applications from university students for 1,050 positions in its bank.
That will give our readers a sense of how competitive it is to get internship/job. It is not enough to submit your resume online and pray for an interview call.
