Hi,
I hope that someone in the community will possess useful information pertaining to the MS in Statistics program at Baruch. If anyone has completed the program or has knowledge of the course material, how rigorous is the level of Mathematics used in the course ? I find it kind of suspicious that the program has VERY minimal entry level math requirements. On the official program site it lists that students only require calculus 1 and 2 preliminary credits, which doesn't even touch multivariable calculus and linear algebra.
So my question is, who is this program really targeting as its audience and what opportunities would one walk away with such a program ?
