To meet our educational standards and the needs of the students taking the Big Data in Finance Massive Online Open Course, it was deemed necessary to postpone the start of the course. Should a new time frame for the course be established, it will be announced on this forum.

Andy, do you know the date the course will start?!!! I won't dwell on the question of why it was postponed but I believe it would be great to know in advance when you think the course will start so that we can plan things better.

You said "should" a new time frame be established. Does this mean the course may not be offered or should "should" have been "when" ?

Should the course be offered again, it will be announced with plenty of time to prepare. As of now, there is no time line for offering the course.

Mr Sheppard mentioned he'd post what he thought were the Top 5 big data books that everyone should have in their library. Even though the course has been cancelled it would still be very interesting to see what made his list.
