I heard previously they were 15 mins.Has the time allotment always been 30 min?
I heard the interview can last from 10 min to 45 min. Not sure if anyone had mentioned the time reserved. Anyway, good luck to you and please report back after the interviewI heard previously they were 15 mins.
Yes, @cab I just graduated this December from the Pittsburgh campusOk, thank you. I am very capable at doing that so your words are comforting. I wonder, do you (or anyone else) know what percentage of interviewed students are retained? Is this a stage where many are weeded out or is that mostly done with applications?
Also, babinu, I hope you don't mind me asking, are you a student there? Where did you get your information?
babinu, can I PM you?Yes, @cab I just graduated this December from the Pittsburgh campus
Can't wait to read your review of the program. You've been a long time member here so expect a very comprehensive review and let us know all the secretsYes, @cab I just graduated this December from the Pittsburgh campus
The biggest hint is who will be your interviewer. In the past, Rick Bryant (the Director), Gwen (admission) and other administrative staff conducted the interview so it's mostly fit/personal/English skill. If they let alumni to conduct the interview this year, everything is fair game but it's usually everything on your resume is the biggest thing they will focus on.The interview this year has been extended to 30 mins.
Does anybody has finished the interview already? Any hints on the interview?

@cab , just curious. how long did the interview go for you?For the information of future applicants:
The interview was non-technical and fairly casual. I come from a non-finance background (BS/MS in math) so he asked me "Why are you here?" once my motivations for entering the program were clear he said that I "made my case" and the conversation seemed to switch to chit-chat mode. I got the impression that once my motivations were established that I was deemed acceptable, and then he just wanted to give me information about the program. I left with the expectation that I would be accepted, but I can't be sure until the 31st!
