did Rick suggest you go to the NY campus in the interview then? Apparently some people applied to Pitts but got admitted to NY. I wonder why that happened

anyone has more information about it? how many people are on the waiting list including R1 and R2 and how many students on the WL will get ADs？
does anyone know any data about the previous years? I just want to know if there is any chance for me to get an AD

If you want to be a quant, maybe NYU and UCB is better for you. CMU most of the time place its students in S/T and risk management

I was wondering if anyone has received interview invitation for CMU Round 3. Based on Round 2 timeline, it seems like all the invites should be sent out by the end of this week at the latest.

The decision date for Round 3 applicants is May 23rd.

I submitted mine on March 5th, but the application completion date on CMU's tracker is shown as March 20th or something. I called CMU and confirmed that I am being considered for Round 3.
