As far as I know, we are supposed to have a video interview. Moreover that fact that the interviewers are accepting the video calls supports my belief. Hence, I feel it won't be advisable to do just a voice call.It is necessarily a video call for everyone? I was thinking on taking it through skype on my phone..is that possible/advisable?
Well then thats the only thing we can do for nowi am not really sure on that , because i see a good number of international applicants with not so high GPA getting interview calls too. Overall profile seems to matter . Nonetheless wait and watch is the only option ( Let us exercise it)
I dont know if Columbia is like Cornell which has different schedules of interviewing and admitting students across regions, but I hope soI am in the same situation!. They are extremely interested in high GPA because I have only heard about people who own a top GPA get the interview invitation.
I haven't got interview from these two schools.I dont know if Columbia is like Cornell which has different schedules of interviewing and admitting students across regions, but I hope so
I haven't got interview from these two schools.. Too bad!
I was among bottom 15% of my class still got an interview.OK. Maybe they are ranked top tier among peers from the same school.
Hope so. Best wishes for you too.Don't worry dude... Given your sub GRE score of 92%, you will surely get into NYU...
= =! Then maybe my profile is not strong enough.I was among bottom 15% of my class still got an interview.

No worries It's not a good thing to get an interview with Cornell as it usually admits students directlyI haven't got interview from these two schools.. Too bad!

Yeah its true. Highest GPA in my class was 9/10.Careful. Many countries do not have the extreme grade inflation that is present in US schools. You might see an international student with an 8.0/10 GPA and think they have a low GPA, but they could be in the top 1% of their class.
Based on the number of questions they asked, you got as many as everyone else did. So if the less time is owing to you answering those questions succinctly, I don't think there should be any problemMine lasted 04:27, is that bad?
