It could be, but I doubt it though. From posts from previous years it seems like the admission department decides and offers the MSOR as an alternative program later on around April/May, not in Jan/Feb
 
I didn't get an email, but my portal says it is under review by the Faculty Committee

I did check the box, if I remember correctly. However, FE also sits within IEOR.
 
Are you talking about the MFE program in the Engineering School or the MS in Financial Economics program in the Business School?
