To those who got rejected: Did they convert ur application to the MSOR program or not?

Good question !
I marked the option that I want to be considered for the Columbia MSOR but my application is still pending.

Interesting, can anyone confirm this? Also, if thats true, has anyone from NY area already been admitted w/o an interview??

Another theory, applications are processed according to your last name in alphabetical order. Mine is Z, so...I am optimistic though

Did the interview this morning and status changed to "Accepted" in the afternoon
A little info from the interviewer:
~900 applications this year, still targeting a class size of 60 students

I guess this year it's going to be harder to get in

That seems to be the case THIS YEAR so far but according to data from the Tracker, majority of last year admits did not have interviews.

I wonder if the increase in applicants was driven by higher numbers from India/China...

Received an email late yesterday night to call them today morning, which I did. Same standard questions as mentioned by others. Will post if there are any updates on my status.

I started to call around 10:10 am..after 10-12 attempts, I was able to reach them around 10:35 am. So, keep trying and good luck !
