Since you already have an admit, I dont see any harm in contacting the university directly on Monday.

Just curious, are there finance clubs at Columbia open for MS students? I found bunch that are restricted to MBA, but couldn't find any for MS..

I have been placed on the waitinglist of MSOR program in Columbia. I haven't heard any useful things from them since then. I am wondering if anyone is in the same situation with me? Does anyone have any info on when the results will be out.
I feel like not pushing them because I am afraid they will reject me at once. I am really looking forward to joining that program...

How is MSOR compared to MAFN? I am basically trying to decide between the two. It seems like MSOR has better career services..

MFE s d only course tht has specialised career services.. MSOR/MAFN have the general univ career services

The only reason why I have heard people chose MSOR over MAFN is because of the longer course duration(MAFN is just 9 months, MSOR can be extended to 1.5 yrs) which gives you more time to apply for jobs

I received the mail of MFE's rejection and MSOR's redirection.
To apply MSOR, I replied the mail with the comment that send me a confirmation mail if the mail is received by committee.

Is there anyone who was redirected to MSOR and got confirmation mail?

nope. someone asked, and the admissions said they would send msg after reaching next step update. sp dont worry.

I received it too but unfortunately I didn't reply. Today I received another email from MSOR that said that my application is under review but don't know more about the admission process.
I don't even have an access to the application, do you know how can I access to it?

I replied to the mail redirects me to MSOR did not have an interview but got an e-mail my application under review.
I guess I am rejected by both.

Despite Columbia's MSOR program is not strong enough as its MFE program, I know some of you are waiting MSOR's admission result. (I am one of them...)

For me: no interview offered (app completed early Feb.)
