I was trying to look for information on Columbia's MSOR program. I called them up and tried to speak with some reps for about 3 days, but I can't seem to get through to them. I was wondering if anyone had any info on pre-reqs or GRE scores, etc that would give me a better assessment of where I stand when getting into the program. Thanks!

A better approach in my opinion would be to prepare as if you apply to their MFE program. And in fact, do apply to that program because if you do not get in the MFE program, you will automatically get considered for the MSOR program.

This is a "two birds with one stone" approach because it gives you a shot at both programs in one application with no extra cost.

agree with Andy here. Might as well get more bang for your bucks. Anyways, as far as prereqs go, Columbia MSFE, and probably MSOR as well (or for any FE degree), you will need calc 1,2,3, linear algebra, diff eq, and upper level course in prob/stats at the minimum. You can throw in stochastic calc, numerical analysis, C++, and some finance classes to make your application looks even better.
