KDB Free for non commerial use

Is this new? I haven't read the link but in the past, the free KDB edition was limited by capacity.

While the kdb download isn't the full-fledged version, it provides more than enough to gain familiarity with the language Q, begotten by K and SQL. (K is a crunchy Lisp kernel with APL sugarcoating; a decade ago I was expert in it; now I'm familiarizing myself with Q [SQL is embedded, not just an add-on].)

kdb/Q currently has a strong presence in algorithmic stock trading, due to the tick history that kx compiled and supports (and to the embedded efficiency of their data retrieval).
