Hi, I applied to financial engineering programs except the FE program in Columbia since I once thought that the MS&E program would be a similar one to the MSFE (since the MS&E has a great flexibility in curriculum) and it was much easier to get admitted.
But now i read some old threads on Quantnet and find out that the MS&E program is not so much my goal (though my goal is still not 100% clear).
I am an international student and i prefer doing trading/structuring, better in US, Singapore or HongKong is fine. The QCF program at Gatech is more like a FE program, but obviously, the location and brand name are not as good as Columbia. On the other hand, the MS&E program is more like a consulting program but i can tailor my curriculum to focus on risk management.
It is frustrated and could you plz help~~THANKS A LOT!!!
