got the invitation for alumni interview, not finished yet. Current senior

It said "randomly selected among interviewees" in the email.

Couple of posters here that got the test had perfect scores on their math GRE. Just take Princeton’s claim about it being randomly assigned in face value, they don’t get anything out of misleading students. Likely the test is being used as part of some pilot program

I have not got any notification for my 2nd round of interviews with Alumni, neither randomly selected for the Maths test. I do not have a good feeling about my chances :P

1. The alumni interview is mostly another data point used to judge goodness of fit for certain candidates. I know of at least two candidates that got their alumni interview before their actual interview so don’t worry about it.

2. this test is randomly assigned

I would not fret over it, but good luck

Think two tailed; you could be an outlier on the far right as well. Cheers
