Hi, was wondering if the community could let me know how my profile looks for Columbia's MAFN program.

Undergrad:
- Asia Top 10 School, Major in Math-CS.
- GPA 2.5/4.3 (graduated uni in 3 years by accepting summer internship return offer in my Sophomore year - ended up cramming my 3rd & 4th year courses in one year resulting in poor GPA. Thinking back I should have been taking opportunities at education more seriously. I've learnt my lesson and hopefully would be able to do through masters)

Work Exp:
- 3+ years as Derivatives Risk SWE at Two Bulge Bracket firms (among JPM/MS/GS)
- 6 months in Trading at a Bulge Bracket firm (among UBS/CS)
- few other solid internship experience during my uni years
- I have good network at NYC, quite confident being able secure a decent job before graduation.

LOR: I'm hoping to get LOR's from managers of my previous firms (EDs at bulge bracket firms) and university mathematics professors.

SOP:
I believe I can write a solid SOP - my CV shows I am passionate in this industry. I've received an return offer in my 2nd year at uni and networked actively to transfer from SWE to trading internally after returning as a graduate (although returned back as a SWE with passion in coding).

GRE:
Haven't taken it yet, but would aim for 170 for Q, 163+ for V.

Would love to know people's opinion on my profile and whether or not I have a chance as my biggest concern is my GPA. Thanks for your help.

We share the same favorite drink :)
You have a decent shot and it has been done before by @Leggoo MFE
His profile is remarkably similar to you.
My advice is to broaden your targets. You may benefit from taking a few pre-MFE courses and do well to show your math is not rusty.
Your strength is your employability as programs will look for candidate who place well after graduation.
As usual, luck plays a big part in this so best of luck.
