Hi Guys,
I'm considering applying to the CMU MSCF 2012 program. I am a little confused between the PT and FT programs, and had a question.
Do you think FT is more competitive to get into than PT? Due to my personal reasons, if I dont get into the program in 2012, then I won't be able to apply again. I definitely prefer the FT program, but would rather not take the risk of not getting an admit in FT if its harder to get into.
Intuitively, I would expect a bigger applicant pool for the FT program and would expect the PT applicant pool to be comprised of only NYC residents who're working. So I would think it should be harder. What do you think?
Also, does anyone know the breakdown of how many students have been applying to the FT and PT programs separately in the last couple of years?
Any help/pointers would be useful. Thanks!
