Hey, everyone, I am an applicant for the mfe programs 2014 fall. I have some questions of the Columbia fe program that needs your advices 
First, as I see from the ranking on the quantnet, it has a very high ranking (2rd or 3rd almost everyyear), so I wonder whether it is as good as the ranking suggests? Could I say that no program is better than it overall except CMU and Princeton?
Second, the program's length is only one year, and I know Columbia has another MAFN program, so I wonder will it be very difficult to find an internship in such a limited time and competitive environment? Is there some people from or in the program?
