Studying for the GRE

Hey everyone,

So I finally settled on my choices for the MSF course next academic year and now onto the GRE.

So I'm seeking wisdom from the community here. Hows the best way to prepare. I've bought several books, Kaplan and Barrows. I'm also going to do practice tests.

So I'm sure theres loads of people who have tackled and mastered the test so any info and tips are greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know when taking the computer based test, how long after do they send your results to you? I know that the quant and verbal scores are on screen when you finish but the essay scores come after. I need them for my applications in Jan 2011. I'm taking the exam 15 Dec.
