The Big Brains Behind LTCM — Where Are They Now?

I only see 3 people listed and 2 of then, while famous, seemed to have been just figureheads at LTCM. Where are the rest, the real brains of the fund? That's what should be really interesting to find out.

Here is the list of LTCM partners. Who are the real brains?

John Meriwether
Robert C. Merton
Myron Scholes
David W. Mullins Jr.
Eric Rosenfeld
William Krasker
Gregory Hawkins
Larry Hilibrand
James McEntee
Dick Leahy
Victor Haghani

If we follow the book "When genius failed", the main players were Victor Haghani and Larry Hilibrand.

Fully agree. On top of a fascinating read, I think the book is pretty consistent in details. Other partners played decisive roles. The characters "move in a realistic fashion" in those late 90's markets.

Also we don't have precise details about strategies employed after LTCM by the specific characters. A few words can hide a completely different approach. Maybe they changed everything. Therefore, I don't see an indication that similar issues would be repeated in the future.
In fact, if we follow the LTCM story carefully, it's even arguable if the approach was wrong. In other words, with slightly different timing/conditions, the fund could have continued to grow ...

BTW, I met Eric Rosenfeld once. Very nice and down to earth person.
