I just received the UCB MFE interview invitation. I'm so nervous and want some advise.
Are questions all technical ?

Usually, you will have first phone interview with a current student/alumn who will ask based on your resume/profile. That will be mostly technical so make sure you review all the requirement (math/finance/programming). It's hard to know what you will be asked because it depends on the background of your interviewer.
Then you may get a second interview with the admission office which is more general, behavioral. You can search for previous posts on this.

even i am still waiting...
i believe there are 8-10 apps as per the tracker that are awaiting decision.
Is December 15th the last date to hear back on the result?

Since I haven't seen much activity in the trackers thought I'd just say that my friend also applied 4th round and got accepted about 2 weeks ago. He's pretty much the number one student in our course's history, so not surprised.

My application status says "application under review". Is this any different from HOLD?
I received a mail that admission decision will be out by 17th Dec.
I had my first interview with an alumus but didn't have one with the program director (Linda) yet. Guess this is a bad sign?

i am not very optimistic to be honest.. perhaps they are deciding whether to put us on hold or on a waitlist.. thats my two cents on the topic.. unless someone knows anything different
