I am intending to pursue a Masters in Financial Engineering degree in the UK, but I am kinda concerned about the quality and recognition of UK programs compared to those in the US. Do you think I should drop the idea of pursuing one in the UK and go for one in the US?
As for UK MFEs, does anyone have any recommendations on any good programs? There are some good ones like Warwick and LSE, but these are MSc in Financial Mathematics, and I am concerned whether they provide the same application skills as MFEs. Does MSc in Financial Maths provide a good basis for a junior quant or various quant roles?
