I am thinking of getting a subscription for a newspaper. I know I can read "everything" online, but the pleasure of reading from a newspaper is just something else.

Any recommendations? Both are around 100ish mark per year.

If there are newspapers outside this two that can provide me with some good finance news please add.

I would get an online subscription to the WSJ just so you can keep tabs and be part of the crowd. Subscribe to the FT if you want a paper version. Global news, no fluff, great writing.

Investors Business Daily is a good one.

Go get an Ipad and subscribe online. You can get both for the cost of one and the news is updated all the time. You can also set up a google reader or RSS and have all the financial news sources you want 24/7. I also download The Economist, Business Week, Bloomberg Markets all in PDF and read it on the Ipad.

Real easy to jailbreak also.

Don't forget about Barron's. It's a pretty good read for weekend.

If you are not sure, just for one week buy every morning WSJ and for the second week buy FT. After two weeks you will know what suits your interests best.

Good point.

Financial Times is, in my opinion, much better. FT is much more direct and to the point. I don't have to wade through useless sections on "Arts and Culture" to get to the news.

On a bit of tangent...you should also consider podcasts. I listen to the WSJ and Bloomberg on the Economy podcasts every morning. The WSJ podcast does a good job hitting the headlines whereas the Bloomberg on the Economy podcast usually targets one or two specific issues.

Anthony,
What iPad version you have? only wifi or 3G?

Wifi. I have an Iphone that I can make into a mobile hot spot. No need to get ATT any more money. 3g is fast, but not fast enough for my tastes.
