Hi, Andy, just a notice or fresh information for quantnet tracker. Oklahoma State University has a Master of Quantitative Financial Economics including three tracks: Financial Engineering, CFA and FRM. Maybe you can add the program in the application tracker.
By the way, I spent 20 days in Vietnam last winter, especially in HCMC, Hanoi, Dalat, Nhatrang. I love those places!

Em tính học SQL, SAS và sharepoint. Nhưng em đọc ở trong diễn đàn này thì mọi người nói học C++ sẽ tốt hơn. Tại vì em không đi theo ngành programmer system nên em không hiểu học C++ để làm gì. Theo anh thì nên học ngôn ngữ nào là tốt nhất cho quant. em thì hiện đang tự học SQL rồi sau đó sẽ học tiếp đến sas và sharepoint.

Hi chào anh.
Em đang học năm cuối của high school. hiện em đã hoàn tất calculus 3 vì vậy em sẽ không phải học bất kỳ môn toán nào trong 2 năm đầu ở university. Trong thời gian này em đang suy nghĩ nên học một ngôn ngữ lập trình nào. Em nhắm đi theo con đường quantitative analyst chứ không phải programmer.

Hello. I'm an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student. I scored a 1220 on my GRE (Quant: 750 & Verbal: 470). I want to apply for the Master in Mathematical Finance program at NCSU and similar other programs in Finance at various other universities. Is my score good enough to apply for these programs or should I take the GRE once again? Does work experience help in any way during application?
