NYU MSMF NYU Mathematics in Finance Admission Results

I look at the Tracker and of the 155 pending cases or so, about 1/3 of them (52 cases) are from NYU MSMF.

Did u guys receive any notice from NYU? I didn't receive anything so I'm worried if I miss any of my documents or my application is lost. Do you guys think it could happen? I tried to call them many times but no one answered the phone and no one replied my emails.

Finally my GRE and TOEFL test dates are updated on SMTS. Don't know how much longer to wait for final decision. I hope they understand that other programs have acceptance deadlines too.

I had emails labeled #1 to #3. Is this what you refer to?

its been about 4 months, since I submitted my application, and no replies on decision yet..

I don't think the numbering in emails matter a lot. (My email #3 was dated Feb 22).
All supporting material is needed for your application to be complete.

I saw a bunch of red lights on Tracker and I have not received the decision email yet. (yes still waiting sucks)
Observing those who got rejected today, unfortunately I guess there is no hope for me.

However, I wonder why the admission committee delays the decisions which most likely are all rejections?
They could have just sent all rejections at the same time assuming there is no more acceptance available.

It seems all acceptances have been made and sent out.
Are they just re-evaluating to make sure if they missed some qualified applicants among the already rejected candidates?

These sporadically sent out rejections do not make any sense to me.

Yeah I was also looking at that. It is getting too tensed now. Does anybody know exactly how many pending cases are there in the tracker and how many admits+waitlists ?

There are 4 waitlists and 34 pendings as we speak. This number will change at any moment notice.
You can use the filter system on top to show exactly these numbers.

I'm working on an Internship/Job system that will blow the Tracker out of the water.

Yeah. I also feel the same way . And I read about this Internship/Job system in some other thread posted by you. It is a very good initiative to bring the employers and an active group of quant aspirants together.
