Didn't that occur around the end of March? I noticed the trend that acceptances are released first followed by rejections and waitlists based on the tracker (for UChicago; not sure about others). However, no one knows until one opens up the box. Let's wait a bit and see what happens

Interesting observation. I wonder what insights we can learn by analyzing the data on the tracker.
Maybe we then can show those insights to only members who have a tracker.

Given that they send out offers every Friday afternoon, I think we can observe if there are any more changes on the portal a few hours before the results are sent out. Maybe "Accepted international student" will appear, good luck to everyone

It's strange that the portal status changed in the evening ET, but there’s still no update. Normally, emails are sent within a few hours after any changes to the portal.

Indeed, in 2024, the rejection letters were also issued on Tuesday, so the situation now doesn’t seem to be optimistic.

This was just a general trend last year but exceptions can occur.

Any ideas of the number of places offered by the program? I think we can reasonably infer the outcome of this batch by using this and last week's acceptances from the tracker.

I did an analysis this weekend and found out that roughly half of the acceptances are yet to be offered.

To be honest, I'm not so optimistic, I feel like it's going to be a wave of rejection tonight. Or tomorrow provided the current uncertainty.

I would wager that they are going to accept and reject people tonight. If I recall correctly, something like that happened last year.

Nothing positive coming out yet. Just a rejection and a waitlist.
