May be a bit late to your questions, to my knowledge GT has one interview, which is by invitation. I believe those requests are being sent out on a rolling basis. As you may be aware from reading this forum, Laura usually does the interview but has recently had a death in her family so others are stepping up. I had my interview last week with Kayln, and it was completely behavioral. As for decisions, Kayln said it would be about an 8 week turnaround. Given they will be without Laura for a significant time during round 1, I would not be surprised if they are behind a bit in sending interview requests out.

Thank you for this useful information, Andrew. This answers many of my questions.
Based on the Tracker data, the average processing time for GaTech applications is 74 days. This year may see some delay based on the personnel issues.

FYI, I received my status update today. I would guess they released a batch of "good news" results before American Thanksgiving. However, I did look at the tracker from the past couple years and many round 1 admits do come out between now and the end of December.
 
Hey, I had applied for the early round, but didn't get any updates yet for my application, did everyone else get any status update for their applications?

Yeah same for me, still haven't heard back from them. Laura said we would get the decisions by the end of the calendar year.

Edit: nvm received the admit today lol

Anyone who applied in early round but still hasn’t received any update (post interview) either positive or negative ?
 
I got the results yesterday, I applied in early round and got an admit, but to book my seat i have to pay 1.5k dollars☠️☠️

Yeah, they're giving only 15 days as well, other programs won't get back by then. Would ideally like to make a decision once I know all my options so a bit confused about what to do now.

You also got it?? Like i am trying to mail laura as I have questions to ask and she had told me to mail her after i get admit decision but she has not seen my mail yet😭😭 and now the new years break will occur and i will have to make my decision accordingly

Did you mail her asking for an extension? Not sure how flexible they would be with it. The thing is that 1500 dollars is quite a bit especially for international students so won't be easy to write off in case I choose another program later

Not just extension but other stuff too, yeah they told it is non refundable so yeah i will have to make some decision fast
