C++ Online Certificate Students' intro thread

Hello everyone. Pleased to be part of this great site.

Objective: Learn C++ for MFE program
Programming experience: VBA, MATLAB, introductory courses in my undergrad (12 years ago haha)
Current work: Fixed Income/Sovereign Assets
Intended pace: There are certain times when one must forgo all other pleasures life has to offer... just for a moment.... Juggling between a GRE retake, a million projects at work, taking the CFA Level II this June and applying to school... so I guess, turtle-esque pace looms XD.

Programming experience: Expert in R; a little bit in C++

There are quite a few students who do this course with no programming experience but with dedication and support from the friendly TAs I think you'll be fine.

I am currently working with EY in a Market Risk Management Role. I have over 2+years of relevant experience. I am also writing my CFA L2 in June.

Objective: Learn C++ for MFE, and also improve the quality of deliverables and understanding at work
Programming experience: Python and C++ (beginner's level)
Current work: EY
Intended pace: I plan to finish it in the intended deadline of 13 weeks.

To enhance my programming skills for admission to MFE programs.

Programming experience: VBA, R and a little bit of Matlab

Current work: An analyst at an Investment Bank

Intended pace of program: My plan is to finish the courses by the end of Feb to mid-March. It really depends on the current workflow, if I'm not too occupied with my job.
